Uninterrupted Flow

This weekend I was walking on my street and noticed that the trees on the streets are starting to get new leaves on their branches. For some reason it reminded me of an early spring walk I took during the pandemic. I remember thinking at the time how nature just keeps going regardless of whatever is going on in the world. It was true then and holds true now. There are things that continue to flow uninterruptedly in the midst of change and nature is one of them.

I strive to have this kind of flow in my yoga practice. Sometimes it happens when expected in my schedule and sometimes whenever I can fit it in but it continues to flow. We see this pattern even in nature the seasons do not happen on an exact schedule but whenever the conditions for it are propitious. Some years a season starts early and others they take a while and the seasons keep flowing.

As we come to class this week may our breath, our effort, our enthusiasm, our focus, and all the great things we bring into our practice move us forward as we flow uninterruptedly with them.

Blessings
