Interesting

As I was browsing for photographs to use for this email I came across the one above. It caught my attention because it reminded me of something I heard my teacher say a long time ago. She said that sometimes life does not get any easier "but it does get interesting"

Regardless of your point of view we can all agree we are living interesting times. Personally not the kind of interesting I would have chosen but interesting nonetheless. That is how I am personally approaching life at the moment. Life keeps going and so does my yoga practice. I hope yours is too. My teacher also said how practicing yoga is like putting money in your bank account. You don't need all your money all the time but whenever you need it is there. Yoga puts clarity, perseverance, and strength in my inner bank account so that I can make a withdrawal whenever I need it.

I hope you like practicing backbends this past week. They are some of my favorite poses. This week we will continue to focus on the upper body and yes some backbends will be included but as many as we did this week.... I promise :-)
